I have suffered from plantar facisciitis since I broke and tore ligaments in both of my ankles 10 years ago. After doing a 3 hour shift, I would be in agony with my feet burning and pain, so much pain that I couldn’t walk. I was living on pain killers. I purchased a Solemate, hacky, cork ball and toe stretchers and when they arrived I did the recommended exercises and then went to work. When I returned home my feet felt tender and mildly achy but I didn’t need pain killers, I could walk without pain…talk about amazing. I thought it would take months but it only took once to see some improvement. Now I prioritise my “feet training” several times a week and am looking forward to moving to barefoot shoes. And the exercises are structured so that even being completely unfit, inflexible, overweight and unwell with an autoimmune disease that affects my ligaments, tendons, joints and veins, I can do the exercises; I can now get almost into a deep squat with my heels perched on the solemate! I have such a long way to go but because I am experiencing all these little successes and it is fun and I can feel my whole body getting a workout while I’m flailing around and trying to balance on the Solemate, I look forward to my little therapy sessions which means I do them. I can’t recommend this enough; it really is amazing.
I've not paid much attention to my feet and at 76 years old it's time before it is too late. I've mostly used the 'wild toes' and mobility ball so far and found them to be beneficial. My individual toes are rediscovering themselves and my feet and body are appreciating the healing effects of the ball. Thank you.
Thanks James, Tom and Mac for running this full day Melbourne workshop which reinforced the importance of barefoot living. I certainly enjoyed the fun and laughter while learning more about barefoot walking and balancing techniques in the company of like-minded individuals. The breathing exercises from Tom were quite useful in calming the mind and body in this busy world we're in. I highly recommend this workshop.
What a fantastic beam that has healed my stability across my joints and gave me a greater awareness of feet, ankle and hips. I’m coming all the way from london so the shipping price was expensive but so worth it when it comes increasing my quality of life ten fold. Before this i had a stiff big toe, plantar fasciitis, i was recovering from an ankle sprain that still hadn’t completely healed since a year ago and knee pain. It has improved all of these things in a matter of weeks. From daily use. Im gonna upgrade once i get use to this beginner beam. Thank you 1000x TFC. I’m also a personal trainer and have started to use it with my clients who also have seen some benefits from implementing this before training.
I use it out on the back porch. To sit in the afternoon autumn sun. Once I’ve done my stretches then spend time with a tea and book. Afterwards packs away into a small space. Great

Very happy with my Solemate. It's a super compact, well thought through piece of equipment. I use it every day to work on my mobility, balance and strength at home and have taken on weekends away or on work trips, where its size is perfect to pop in an overnight bag. I've recently got onto the online training videos and plans and they are so easy to follow and clearly explained - will be using these more and more to structure my time with the Solemate and make the most of a great product!
Love love love my SoleMate!. Balance beam, 2 rollers, toe bands and stretching tool with 2 programs included to boot! And so versitile -the small roller works for forearms, half of the SoleMate gives a nice upper back stretch if you lay over it and if you are new to balancing, you can stagger the beams to your comfort level. I use mine every day!
So happy with my new SoleMate! For me the perfect travel version of a balance beam. It's compact, can be easily used for various exercises (balance play, fascial release/massage, toe strengthening etc.) and I love the eco-friendly material. And even at home it does a good job in combination with a classical balance beam. I have a lot of fun with it!
These are brilliant. I've had physio for over 12 months with no real improvement due to a full spinal fusion affecting the way I stand. Two sessions using these & the beam & I had some relief. First time in a long time I'm walking with the ball of my foot on the ground. Highly recommend them.
I bought this as a recreational runner who's had one bout of plantar fasciitis and ongoing ankle / achilles issues, after reading some of the books recommended by TFC and going on a bit of a learning journey. It's become a part of my mobility / exercise / strength training - and a fun one! I keep the foot roller in my office, to use when I'm on client calls and the balance beam's in the living room to remind me to play a bit every day... I even took it on a weekend away recently, as it's really easy to pack up.
Already feeling better for it - my feet are looser and more flexible, and my ankle range is increasing, along with my balance! Highly recommend : )
I was recommended a beam for ankle strengthening and balance following multiple ankle injuries and I'm really happy with the result. It's a fun way to do exerciss, without having to do exercise. This beam sits in the bedroom and I walk across it to get to the bathroom and to bed so a lot of incidental training. In conjunction with physiotherapy, I have noticed an increase in general mobility and perception of my ankles and foot, all of which are helpful in helping prevent injury. Totally recommend having one

It has so many uses esp with the toe bands to help with toe strength and the mini roller is #chefskiss 🥰 perfection.
It is a unique and fabulous way to build up foot strength whilst not doing any damage and the best part is …. it’s so much fun to find new ways to exercise.

Not only is it enough a challenge, esp for me after neck surgery but it also isn’t so difficult …where I feel like I could hurt myself if I fell off.
It’s super sturdy, feels and looks great.
